I suppose my first page should include my experiences building this website. To say that I am much more adept with a quill or nibbed pen than a computer keyboard is I hope, to state the completely obvious!

If you find the website a little simplistic I trust you will feel differently about my work. I would much rather undertake the long and highly detailed work of creating your calligraphy commission than attempt another page of this website.

I have worked with many, many clients (both corporate and individuals) creating calligraphied pieces of all kinds; presentation certificates, doctoral and degree certificates, donor books (for many charitable organizations) as well as poems, vows, cards and replica manuscript illuminations. Please visit the picture galleries to see examples.

Recipients of my work amongst many others include: Mstslav Rostropovich, Bernard Haitink, Alfred Brendel, Kurt Masur and Vladimir Ashkenazy (for the Royal College of Music) Winners of the 'Singer of the World' competition since 2005 (for the Wigmore Hall, London).

Calligraphied wedding invites, envelopes, RSVP cards, placecards, menus, order of service and tableplans, can be found on my website: www.weddingcalligraphybyclaudine.jimdo.com

For links to my other websites detailing the other disciplines in which I work please refer to About Calligraphy & Claudine

Calligraphy always adds that touch of elegance. In these days of instant and homogenised communication; texts, emails, twitter and junk mail there is very great delight (I am told constantly by clients) in receiving even a calligraphied envelope in the post. Many recipients display the envelope as well as the invitation on their mantlepieces!

I would be more than happy to discuss any of your calligraphy needs so

please do not hesitate to contact me via the Contact page above or directly at: claudine@live.co.uk

Whether you are merely browsing or indeed contemplating a calligraphied gift, I would be grateful for your comments (on my work rather than my computer skills!) on the Guestbook page.

Thanks for visiting.
